Souther Higlands

Njord squawked back to the female and then ignored her. He was not going to forgive that easily. But he landed back on the cliff, of course further away from the female, and then continued to cleanse his wings.
It was always needed.
Then he looked up over the highlands and squawked, not looking for anything particular. He just looked.

Njord squawked and once again began to rub his beak against the wing's membrane once again. He accepted this female in his territory only because it was a female and that hers and Njord's territories crossed here. But he has claimed this cliff. This cliff was his. And he didn't like the behaviour of this female. Either she had to accept that he was here, or she could just beat it.
Njord suddenly turned around against the female and shrieked at it. He unfolded his wings and beat with them several times. Then he landed back on his four leged position.
He howled and then squawked, leering some at the juveniles.

Njord howled and reared up on his hindlegs, broading his mighty wings.
Protective female, just like all other mothers. He slammed his beak shut in front of Arrow and mock pecked at her. Then he squawked and walked back.
If she continued to behave this way, he will be forced to chase her away.

Njord glared at the new females and just squawked. Then he continued to look away, watching the landscape.
Why couldn't she just leave him alone?
Then he squawked again and scratched his beak against the rocks.

Njord squawked and rubbed his beak some more at the rocks and then looked up.
But then he instantly got busy cleaning his wings once again, rubbing and scratching his beak against the thin, skinny membrane. But then he looked up. He saw that he had the interested eyes of the females on him. He squawked surprised, but then chirped curious as he saw that all the females was matured. But he didn't want to mate them all.
He just wanted one single mate, that he could have throughout his life.
He was loyal to those who wanted.

Njord watched after the first female. A quite aggressive female, even though it was a female. It was unusually aggressive.
But he just squawked in a disinterested way and directed his attention to his wings once again, which he began to clean again.
Then he scratched himself behind his head.
Oh, he missed when someone he loved used to do that.

Njord looked over the females and at the first one that kept in the background. She was busy taking care of her babies.
He glared some at the babies.
Then he continued to clean his wings, scratching some in the neck and then rubbing his beak against the rock.

Njord squawked after the females but stayed on the cliff. He didn't want to risk unexpected caste winds that could occur before the storm. Those winds could throw him uncontrolled, and in worst case it could throw him into the sea and where water animals could take him as lunch.
He just squawked once again and instead moved in under a clip lead, which was like a little cave to hide in during the storm.
There he stayed and continued to clean himself.

Njord squawked and curled himself up in the end of his little "cave", trying to keep as much body heat while the storm raged. This also protected his wings from the most of the potential dangers.
Then he squawked once again and stuffed his head between the wings and the heat they had catched.
Now it was just to wait for the storm to end.
And then he slowly closed his eyes.

Njord looked at their shadows which he saw behind the wingmembrane, and squawked some. Then he pressed himself closer to the clip wall, while the females pressed themself closer to him, trying to make themself as small as possible.
Then Njord once again closed his eyes, just to wait out the storm.

*Spitter and Cobra has arrived to the SH*

Spitter hooted, and heard the chirp from his mate in respons. He stopped and looked back, at the smaller, brown female, who to stopped and looked enquirer on him. Spitter then hooted again and continued walking.
Soon, they reached to the border of the Jungle, and to the beginning of the Southern Highlands.
He had already heard the sounds from this area, but now they were stronger than ever. He heard tyrannosaurs, ceratosaurs, raptors, ceratopsians but also the chirps and squeals of the smaller, weaker animals. It was those small and weak ones he and Cobra was looking for, as long as they were a good piece of meal.

Cobra stuck up her snout in the air and smelled it, then she looked down at her mate and hooted. Spitter looked back in surprise but sniffed the air to. Yes, he did actually sense the smell of a raptor just in the vicinity. Though, he couldn't decide wether it was alone or not, but it could be worth checking out.
He hooted at Cobra once again and nodded to the east, where he sensed the smell.
Then, they both quietly sneaked away.

(Oh yeah, that one. That's an old one. xD)

Spitter snapped up with his head and listened. His hooting seemed to get a respond. Hissing and barking sounded further ahead. The typical sounds of a ominous raptor. He looked at Cobra, who seemed almost excited. She gave Spitter a short look and then chirped at him. Apparently, a raptor was a good prey for her. Spitter hesitated first, but two dliophos would have a better chance of killing one raptor than just a single one. He hooted and began to walk again, this time much slower, almost like he was stalking.
Fisrt, they would have to check if it was alone or not.

Spitter cooked his head and listened to the bark. It actually sounded a little... desperate? Almost to warning. That meant that it was probably alone. He let out a low hoot, almost as low as a whisper, and they both quickened their phase.
Spitter unfolded his crest as he signaled Cobra to stop. Then it fell back down over his neck.
Now they stood both behind a shrubbery, and on the other side they saw the raptor, alone it seemed like. They were both carefull to not make any sound, as that could expose their ambush position.
