Semi-mountainous terrain just south of the Deep Channel home to lush forests.

*Arow entered Souther Higlands*

Arow was tired. Just a bit more and she's down. With her last strenght she looked where Mononoke was. He was there, coming after her. Arow fell down. She didn't have the strenght to keep up. All fish she cought today she gave to Mononoke. Now she is falling. Like her whole life is pasting in front of her eyes. Is this the end of white pteranadon?

Mononoke saw Arow falling, he nosedived after her and caught her by the leg. He flew for a while and set her down near the edge of a cliff, he then flew out to the sea and snapped up a few fish and flew back, he set them down and left them for her.

Arow barely got the strenght to eat them but she menaged. She was feeling better. Squeaking she thanked him. After Arow ate fish, she was back on her feet. Now she understand that he got the instincts. She performed a mating call and spread her wings. Then she just looked expenting his answer.

Mononoke screeched like a eagle as his instincts kicked in, he flew upwrds as everything in his brin activated. After tht his mind went black as his instincts took care of everything he needed to do.

Arow knew her dance was accepted. She started to fly lower and lower into the forest. After she done that, slowly she was returnig with branches. Again she started to build a nest.

Mononoke smiled to himself, he got the girl and that if anything kicked butt. He nosedived and helped Arow, she was prbably still shaken up and she probably needed it.

Arow looked at Mononoke and saw that he is helping she flew after her toure to sea and catched one fish. While returned she flew under Mononoke and like "jumped" in fly in frontof him. She gave him the fish. After he accepted she returned to building nest.

Mononoke kept helping her build the nest, he decapitated more trees as he thought about things. His memory had returned and he has a mate, although those ships had come and that meant trouble.

After the nest was finished Arow lyed in it and called Mononoke. it's time for the to get some rest, finaly.

Mononoke flew back, he needed some sleep as he sat in the nest.

Arow woke up. She noticed that Mononoke is till sleeping. First she tought about the ships. What humans are here for, again? Are they here to kill them? She woried. From dead of her mother, Arow hated ships. Now, she is woried cause of her mate, Mononoke. What if they get him too? Her life would be over. But hope comes up at least. Arow decided to stay in thise parts of island while they are here. But now she got work to do. Arow slowly flew up. Sea was on the other side of mountain. While flying, she relied on wind to keep her going. After few minutes of slowly flying, she saw sea on the other side. Now it's time to get faster. Arow flew just a little bit faster. She got to get back home soon. Finaly, the Sea. She just stood near the shore. Lower her head and...got a fish. Arow swalowed it. Few more times and she's full. Now the second part of job. She done the same again but this time Arow keept the fish in her mouths. Coutching 6 fishs, she started to returning home. This trip didn't take long. Few minutes of flying and Arow softly landed on cliff where nest is. While lawering her beak, she opened it. Fishs fall from it in front of Mononoke. Now, when he gets up, Mononoke can eat right away. Arow was proud on herself.

Mononoke woke up, his eyes sowly opened as he rose from the ground. Near him there was some fish and they were for him, he ate a few fish then stretched his wings.

Arow saw he has woke up. But right now she has her head full with worries. It's start of mating seasion. Will they be able to have youngsters? And if do, will they survive? She tought and tought. It was a big decision. She has to consult her mate. Arow squeaked asking him if he wonna have babys. Confused and worried, she waited for answer.

Mononoke half shocked at the question thought, if he was to be a father then what would he do? he didn't even like kids although hethought about Arow and that she probably did want the little beasts. So he sqawked what could be translated to yes.

Arow noticed clerly that he didn't know what to do if he had kids. So arow explained to him by squeking thjat only thing he'll had to do is catch fish. Arow didn't know if she should be happy or sad about yes. The whole situation messed it up. She came near Mononoke and rubbed her beck at his.

Mononoke was almost pleased but not pleased, and while Arow was rubbing her beak against him he was thinking bad thoughts.

Arow noticed he's thinking but she didn't want to ruin the moment. After few minutes of rubbing she sleped back few steps and started to perform a real mating dance, the one just before mating. She's just hoping that Mononoke will join.

Mononoke noticed what was going on as his instincts had activated, he then joined in. This was his lucky day.

Arow felt she's ready. She stoped and stoped in mating pose. Whitout experience she newer knew what to do but now the instinct took over. She waitied.

Instinct went into overdrive as he got into position..............

After a few minutes of mating , Arow moved. It's time to snack. SHe asked Mononoke if he's going with her to hunt fish.

Mononoke agreed and took flight, waiting for Arow. He had not hunted in a long time, unless you count the time he had to save Arows life but hat dosen't count as it wasn't for himself.

Arow rapidly avertook the lead and in few minutes she dived her beak into the sea. A fish. Finaly some food. It's life sawing. The warm sea winds keep her in air without flaping her wings. Diving beaks and catching fish was all she done. Few times she squeaked at Mononoke who was behin her.

Mononoke had been nosediving down and up while scooping up fish, and he had a beakful of the stuff. And so did Arow who was in front of him, he tried carefully not to choke on one.
